“Every once in a while you come across an artist who changes everything. Keir is one of them,” said BBC Introducing’s Sam Bonham of Bristol’s rising R&B star.
In his 22 years, KEIR can’t recall a time when music wasn’t at the centre of his life. Schooled by the albums, books and films he found in charity shops, this artist makes music out of the life he sees.
Chart pop, jazz, torch song, retro, futro, alt rock and electronica all mingle in the slipstream of years spent collecting records and hanging about in bands.
A triumphant first show at the Nest Club in Bath led to radio plays from BBC Introducing, 6 Music and Radio 1, with festival dates including Secret Garden Party, Dot to Dot and Boardmasters.
Debut single “Probably” shows off Keir’s rich voice at its versatile best and has done nothing to dim the excitement around this talented young man who has earned the right to play the big stage.
